Upton on Severn's Festival Season

Upton on Severn has a thriving Festival Season starting this year in April.  Every year it holds Folk, Jazz and Blues festivals and there is usually a Boat Festival on the river.  The music events are held in the many Pubs in the town and there is an Edinburgh Fringe feel during the events. Festival dates this year are:

Tiltridge Vineyard

One mile outside Upton on Severn is a vineyard.  Not perhaps one on Britain’s best-known products, wines have been produced in England since Roman times and this is our local producer.  They can be contacted by phone on 01684-592906.

The Three Counties Showground

This is approximately 8 miles west of the strip and is the site of the annual Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire Agricultural Show.  It also hosts numerous other events  throughout the year www.threecounties.co.uk

Pershore Plum Festival

This takes place every year on August Bank Holiday.  You cannot find a bigger or more varied selection of plums in one place.

Welland Steam Rally

This event starts on Friday 25th July 2008.  While not as big as the Great Dorset Steam Fair, it is our local event and great fun. 

Croome Park

Capability' Brown's first complete landscape park, Croome Park is now owned by the National Trust and is well worth a visit. They are expecting a fly past by the BBMF Lancaster Bomber on 12th July 2008.
